We have had a few calls regarding the team structures for next year. I though it would be best to post this information so everyone has it. When students are placed on a team we do so to ensure that the teams are balanced. There is not a team that is higher academically then another team. They are even. We balance for gender, town of residence past academic achievement and behavior. On multi-age teams students will have times where they work with students of different ages and there will be times where they are working with students who are the same age as themselves. Students working together will be either at the same level in the curriculum or have a similar interest.
Here are the teams and the traditional grades that make up each team. ELA= English Language Arts, SS= Social Studies. Some teams do not have a name yet and those teams plan to name their team as a part of the start of year events.
